Can I flying electric radio-controlled airplanes in the Polo Fields?

Question:

Hi there - we are moving to San Francisco and have a question about flying electric radio-controlled airplanes in the Polo Fields. These are small, electric powered planes (not gas), but need asphalt to land, such as on the running track. 

Is this allowed? There’s a lot of speculation on the web, some saying it is, others saying it isn’t.

I have seen them flown there before and enjoyed watching them fly over the Monterey pines. BUT, I would double check with the The San Francisco Recreation & Parks Department first. Their info is below:
