In September and October of 2011 the Australian Girls Choir will be undertaking our 14th International Tour; to Boston, New York, Washington DC, San Francisco and Los Angeles. We are currently confirming our performance schedule for this tour, and would like to request that the Australian Girls Choir be considered for programming at the Golden Gate Park Spreckles Temple of Music/Bandshell. We will be in San Francisco on Friday September 30 and Saturday October 1.
The Australian Girls Choir’s strong reputation has led to our senior choristers being highly sought after to perform at major cultural and sporting events. Recent highlights include: performing in Oprah Winfrey’s live Australian show at the Sydney Opera House, with Hugh Jackman in his Boy from Oz Arena Spectacular, at G’Day USA Australia Week Celebrations, with André Rieu and Celtic Woman on their Australian Tours, the Australian Open Tennis Final and the Shanghai World Expo. We have also enjoyed collaborations with both the Adelaide and Melbourne Symphony Orchestras.
