Question:
I need to capture footage next week of a mock water testing for a non-profit company in the bay area. I was hoping to record a scientist doing the mock testing at Stowe Lake in Golden Gate Park since it is near her home. The crew will be myself and an assistant plus the scientist. We will have no lights or sound. Just one small camera. The shoot will take one hour and we don’t need to close down or hold any areas if the park.
Answer:
As long as you do not disrupt other park visitors, you can film. Permits are needed for reservations that give you exclusive use of park spaces for a specified amount of time.
