Question:
I am the benefits administrator of the Human Resources department
of San Benito County (On California\’s Central Coast) and I receive a lot of
discount ticket options such as \”Buy one, Get one Free\” tickets from
various amusement parks and attractions all over the State of CA for
distribution to our employees. I am asked all the time if we have discount
tickets for any of the attractions at Golden Gate Park, but do not have any
and refer them to your website.
Does the Golden Gate Park provide discount coupons to employers for their
employees? I was unable to locate such a request online.
Is there any kind of discount or packages offered to government employees?
We are a local government entity and usually there are amenities offered to
government employees.
Please advise. I appreciate your assistance.
Answer:
Golden Gate Park is made up of many different attractions (such as the deYoung Museum and Japanese Tea Garden) that operate independently. For example, the California Academy of Sciences will often offer discounts and free admission for specific work groups, such as the military, teachers, firefighters…etc. If you are interested in a specific attraction at the park, I would suggest directing your question to their representative. Under certain circumstances, they may offer unadvertised discounts and specials.
