Question:
I am a frequent user of the park and exercise there every evening, with the Bootcamp sf group. I park my car near the Aids memorial park. There is a lot of pedestrian activity in the area generated by the users of the tennis courts and all the other great facilities the park offers. Despite all that cars are frequently broken into in that area.
It seems to be done by an organized group that tracks the activity going on. Yesterday one of my co runners had her car broken into and everything stolen. And we were not even 100 yds away in Snaron Park. This is very upsetting. It is unsafe to even leave ones locked car even for an hour!!! Something needs to be done.
The Park needs to be patrolled more often and these people need to be caught. This happens on a regular basis. If there is some other organization I need to take my complaint to please let me know. It is a shame to have a beautiful park like ours be so unfriendly. Thank You
