It’s so difficult to locate (haven’t found) the oncoming events at the Amphitheater so we can plan our trips to the academy of sciences. we plan to go many times using the family membership but love to plan with what’s going on outside for extra fun

If you are referring to the Jerry Garcia Amphitheater, there sadly isn’t an updated website devoted to the upcoming events at the Amphitheater that I can find.
However, you might be able to stay on top of possible events by checking out the SF Rec and Parks Department page [http://sfrecpark.org/documents/Ingleside.pdf ] regarding permit applications. Here you can see the kinds of events that people are planning for the amphitheater.
So far, I see OminoDay in the Park World Music Festival for June 4, Jerry Day 2011 for August 7, and the Mission Creek Music & Arts Festival (Sept 10 and 11). Hope this helps.
