We have been to the park many times with our horses to ride in the park and out on the beach. This is a great place with lots of room for trailer parking. However, yesterday May 4 when we arrived we found the gate locked. Luckily we were early and found a place to park with the trailer in the lot across the street. Glad to see this page and I hope this facility will contiue to be available for future use. You will not find a better place to ride thatn on the trails in Golden Gate Park, the scenery is amazing with lots of special treats hidden around every corner. Unique flora, statues and lots of friendly folks. |

I have tried several times and am making another attempt to find out which trails/roads you are allowed to ride in the park. Does anyone know our have a little map? also someone mentioned riding on the beach from the park - is this allowed? |
